Double Glazing Across Ayrshire From a Team You Can Actually Talk To
Double glazing in Ayrshire needs to handle everything the west coast weather throws at it. Salt air near the coast, wind off the hills, heavy rain for weeks on end. The products we install are built for that kind of climate, not just for show homes in milder parts of the country.
What Windows and Doors Do You Offer?
We supply and fit a wide range of double glazing windows and doors to suit all kinds of properties, from Victorian terraces in Ayr to newer builds further inland. Our range covers:
- uPVC casement windows, the most popular choice for most homes, low maintenance and highly energy efficient
- Sash windows, ideal if your home has a traditional look you want to keep
- Tilt and turn windows, practical for upper floors where easy cleaning matters
- Composite front doors, extremely solid, thermally efficient, and fitted with multi-point locking as standard
- French and patio doors, great for back gardens and making the most of natural light
- Bifold doors, if you want to open up a room fully during better weather
All our windows carry an energy rating of A or above, which keeps heating costs down and reduces draughts noticeably. Frames are available in a good range of colours and finishes, so your new windows fit the character of your home rather than clashing with it.
How Long Does Fitting Take?
For most window replacement jobs, fitting takes one to two days depending on the number of windows involved. A full house of windows and a new front door might stretch to two or three days, but we keep disruption to a minimum and always leave your home clean and tidy at the end of each day.
We measure up first, then your windows are manufactured to the exact size of your openings. From survey to installation, most customers are looking at a lead time of around three to four weeks, though this can vary depending on the specification you choose.
What About Security?
Security is something a lot of Ayrshire homeowners ask about, and rightly so. Every window we install comes fitted with internally glazed units, so the glass cannot be pushed out from outside. Our uPVC frames use shoot bolt locking systems, and our doors are fitted with anti-snap cylinders and multi-point locks as standard.
Composite doors in particular offer a seriously robust barrier. The core construction means they do not warp or bow over time the way older timber doors can, and the locking mechanisms are far harder to compromise than a basic cylinder lock setup. If you have had a break-in nearby, or just want to feel more confident about your front door, it is worth having a conversation with us about what is currently on your home.
What Guarantee Do I Get?
All our double glazing installations come with a ten year guarantee covering both the frames and the sealed glass units. That covers things like misting between the panes, frame distortion, and hardware failure. You are not just buying a product, you are buying the reassurance that if something goes wrong, we will come back and sort it.
Our window installers are fully trained and work to the building regulations that apply to window replacement in Scotland. Every installation is certified, which matters if you come to sell your home and a solicitor asks for documentation.
